So, this is my new blog.  Thanks for giving it a read. The things I want to talk about here are near and dear to my heart.  First off, the most important goal of my life–living my the very best life I can, doing the most I can with the time I have, and still being able to savor the journey!

I am interested in human potential, health and wellness with leanings towards natural medicine, and I am fascinated by all aspects of spirituality and all of our attempts to understand the divine nature of our world. I want to use this space as a platform for those of us who live in the Niagara Region to explore together the things that will make us smile, help us learn, and enable us to bloom like vivid wildflowers, exactly where we are planted.

The things I plan to blog on today include my announced intention to spend the month of June working to get into my best health ever after an ugly incident with a full blown allergic reaction to something–possibly a food supplement alpha lipoic acid–and the resulting need to spend a week on steroids. I have been doing only moderately well in my efforts to eat well and exercise and stay centered. This month (after the steroids wear off and I can start sleeping again…)

I came to the conclusion that it doesn’t matter how old you are, it matters how well you are!

I plan on doing all that I can to empower myself in body mind and spirit. That means joining a health club and lifting weights, taking yoga classes again, finding time to meditate and upping the ante on my already healthy diet.  Let me know where you are on these topics. I’d love to hear. I’ll post more later.
